Challenge:
Priority One needed to capture and communicate the significance of their Regional Energy Summit in a compelling way. The event aimed to catalyse action among local businesses around sustainability, energy transition, and the importance of kaitiakitanga (guardianship) in shaping the region’s future. The challenge was to document the event in a way that would reflect its strategic importance, honour mātauranga Māori, and engage a diverse audience of stakeholders.
Solution:
Bolton Inc. was engaged to film the Energy Summit, capturing keynote speakers, panel discussions, audience engagement, and the launch of the Energy Leadership Group. We focused on creating a cinematic, story-driven video that communicated the Summit’s purpose and the collective momentum building in the Western Bay of Plenty. Particular care was taken to ensure cultural integrity and relevance, aligning with the values of sustainability and guardianship.
Outcome:
The final video became a key asset for Priority One’s ongoing engagement efforts. It helped elevate the visibility of the Energy Leadership Group and set the tone for future workshops, resources, and events. The film was shared widely across digital platforms, reinforcing Priority One’s leadership in driving a sustainable, business-led energy strategy for the region.
